Mr. Phillips came to our facility to regain some strength. We got to know Hal very well prior to him coming in as a rehab patient. He frequently stopped by to visit is mother-in-law. When he became sick and needed some physical, occupational, and speech therapy, there was no question as to where he would go. In the short time Hal was here, he not only met his goals, but he also made some amazing friendships. As Hal left the facility after discharge, we all gathered together to bid him farewell…there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Upon admission, Hal needed moderate assist in transferring and maximum assist with ambulation. When he left our facility, he was independent in transfers and able to walk 30 feet with a rolling walker. His confidence grew so much in such a short time.
